Not many acts can attest to being featured alongside international stars in a global effort. Ambassada can! Lined up with acts such as Black Mambazo, P. Diddy, Bono and Youssou N'Dour, and others for the recent global call to action against poverty.
He was contracted by the biggest distribution label in East and Central Africa (Sound Africa) to record a 10 track album “Natamani” which was released in 2004 and had hits like Natamani, Watoto Inkane, Yahweh and Ebyensi.
He swept to fame with his massively successful single, Watoto Inkane featuring Grace, which advocates for children's rights. Its video, featuring Nyumbani Children’s Home, has remained a favorite on numerous African TV broadcasts. Since then, he has been a prominent figure in the African music scene.
He managed to scoop 13 nominations across Africa and became the first Ugandan to win in East Africa’s most celebrated KISIMA AWARDS, in the Best East African video category. His13 track album “Yaka” (shine), released it has hits like Sio, Warunva, and Anyina. These hits are also featured on the “East
African Essential Hits”, as he continued to be ranked as one of East Africa’s youngest, best-selling and best performing artist. “Yaka” album catapulted him to a different echelon, vocally and also on his artistic prowess.
He took a musical break to concetrate on his further studies and his humanitarian projects teaming up with former Kenyan President H.E. MWAI KIBAKI, the First Lady and the Kenyan Cabinet as he headlined the Action aid “Get On Board” Aids Eradication Campaign in Kenya after which was called on board by Oxfam Kenya, as a headline artist on the G8 poverty eradication campaign in East Africa.
Ambassada and Inkanetwork (now Ambassada Foundation) partnered with Ashleys and Miss kenya 2004/2005 to do charity works and distribute donations in slums and children’s homes around Nairobi. He has also worked with NACADA on the drug free Kenya and AMPCANN Kenyan Chapter on the child rights campaign in Kenya and Uganda.
After his historical interview with Reuters, he was called upon by UNICEF to become a UN Ambassador.
This came as a follow up on his Watoto Inkane hit, a child right advocacy song also used by BBC Kenya as theme song for the World Children’s Day and the charity works he does with children’s homes and NGOs.
As an artist and music producer, he was called on board to write, arrange and produce the Stanbic bank Uganda theme song and the lions club Uganda Anthem.
2012 he made his official music comeback and reloacate to Nairobi Kenya. He has managed to belt some of the best tunes as his new releases including Ayaya ft Danie, Take Me, Nitakuinua with Saint Stevoh and his recent controversal release Kani (Kanisa) the Pastor Bugembe rendition that addresses issue in the 20th century church.
Ambassada is also set to release his international connection projects starting with ON MY MIND featuring Jamaican sensation JPROJEK premiered on the 04:07:2014 with a listening party as he also celebrates his birth day for the first time in his entire life, launches his new website and humanitarian projects with Ambassada Foundation.
The boy is Back again with his new mainstream contemporary hit song #Dance that will sweep every one of his old and new fans off their fit as they all groove to it.
