C Wyne Nalukalala original names Namugera Alex was born on 12th January 1987 from Kireka town Kampala. to he never experienced sufficient parental affection as he grew up with only his grandmother.
he is inspired by Ugandan and Jamaican Dancehall and reggae artists such as Philly Lutaaya, Maddox Sematimba Peter Tosh, Bob Marley Buju Banton Shaggy, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Shabba Ranks. With the help of his guardian, C Wyne managed to attend formal education from nursery to high school.
During his high school days, he started writing mature lyrics and also performing from Riddim Ragga Club. This earned him a name as a young and talented Reggae-Ragamuffin.
In 2008, C Wyne Nalukalala started the Tsunami High Rebels Crew; a pure reggae-dancehall group with its bases in Kireka.In the same year, he released a Reggae hit song titled ‘CEASE & SEKKLE’ featuring Momo. This Reggae tune moved him places.
For the fact that C Wyne Nalukalala grew up from the Ghetto, his music so much relates to the Ghetto life and its hardships. He believes that through music, the poor and less privileged get motivation to work hard for a better future.
