Ceaser Kajura Born in 1989, Caesar Kajura hummed little tunes to himself, long before he could talk. His love of music, rhythms and culture provides a colourful lens though which he sees and shares his world with the rest of us. After years of struggling to relate to school systems and making friends; one day a music teacher gave Caesar a set of percussion drums for a school performance and set the direction for his life. Born with a mild form of autism later diagnosed as Asperger’s syndrome, Caesar attended pre-school and primary in Kampala Uganda where his struggle with academics did not stop him becoming head-boy at 2 of the many schools he attended. His adult- like behaviour, demeanour and sense of responsibility helped develop the discipline he needed for a career in music
