J.A.M Squad is a karimojong youth ministry. The acronym J.A.M stands for Jesus And Me. It was born in June 2009 at Christ Church Cathedral, Kotido. It’s a group of multi-talented young people who have a passion for GOD and a call to reach out to fellow young people out there, in schools and institutions. J.A.M Squad was inspired of God! Three young men had a call to reach out to young people thru the ministry of singing, dancing, acting, teaching and preaching. It’s from Christ church that J.A.M Squad started out it’s ministry of preaching, teaching, dancing, acting, and singing for Jesus Christ.J.A.M Squad is a big team of multi-talented young people who not only showcase their singing and dancings skills for God’s glory, but they are also youth preachers and teachers by the grace of God. They are gospel singers, and instrumentalists ranging from playing solo guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, piano/ keyboard, and modern drums. As J.A.M Squad, we have a special heart for the young people, and so we dance, we prepare sermons, we write songs and dramas that inspire and preach to them. These has been boosted by an above-average relationship that we have with our God, so we've written spiritually empowering music for different audiences from gospel hip-hope, gospel reggae, gospel rn’b, afro-beat, worship among other music genres. We are transformed youth, loving brethren, caring people, hardworking and creative song and play/ drama writers, skilled dancers and play actors, audio/music and video producers, talented graphic designers and computer technicians. We are multi-talented public speakers, dancers, informed and transformed preachers and teachers, graphic designers, very good composers and singers, disciples of Christ of Nazareth! As disciples of Jesus Christ, we highly believe that NOW is the time to lower the bar of "churchianity" and raise the bar of Christianity: learning to first and last be a disciple / faithful follower of Jesus Christ; detoxing ourselves from unbiblical notions that have been deeply ingrained in our spiritual fabric; being equipped for every good work by taking heavy dozes of God's word daily; heartily having and practically showing an authentic love for fellow being; learning to be human BEINGS and not just living a life of a human DOING; giving the Holy Spirit His place in us, without directing Him on what and what not to do; honouring God and treating man fairly.
