Kiggundu Steven stage name Kid Fox (King Steven) nowdays has been associated with dancehall gospel music but insists that his music is not gospel but just positive music in other words music that is meant to inspire us and builds our souls.
Kid Fox had his education in Nakasero Primary School , Wairaka College and Progressive Secondary School and finally proceeded to Makerere University .
He started singing when he was in 1991 while in Senior One while in Wairaka College in the Drama Club.
He used to do rap miming doing songs of guys like Vanilla Ice, MC Turbo B and many more Kid Fox started with Hip Hop and in 1994 he switched to dancehall because dancehall was picking at a faster rate and he was inspired by international artists like Buju Bunton, Red Fox, Mad Cobra, Chaka Demus and Pliers.
In 1995, Kid Fox started performing at shows of Da Hommies with Shanks Vividee, Perfect Generations and these shows took place in places like Fairway Hotel, Lugogo Indoor Stadium, Sheraton Ball Room, Hotel International in Muyenga and many more. In 1999, Karoakes sprang up in Kampala and the first was at Bingo Cinema , Texas Pub (Park View).
He then graduated to Sabrina's pub on Bombo Rd and DV8 and many more around town.
In 2000, Kid Fox recorded his debut album “Watoto” but did not get to promote it so it was not a hit.
After the release of this album, Kid Fox switched from singing and become a DJ after some time he left the entertainment scene and the music industry and resumed with education.
In early 2005 after completing his education, he bounced with another album that consists of four songs namely: Brothers and Sisters, Love is a good feeling (These two have a reggae touch added to them), Fed up which is Lovers Rock and lastly Uganda which is pure dancehall and many more songs that are down the drain.
