Lyrical Mycheal Biography.

Flaunting his signature dreadlocked hair, strong voice, urban swagger, and fashion-forward style, Christian recording artiste, actor and activist Lyrical Mycheal magnetically becomes the centre of attention whenever he walks into a room standing up for the Love of God and the Light of Jesus Christ! 

In 2016, the Kampala Uganda native released hits such as “Wrong Number” and “Pregnant” which went on to top numerous Urban and contemporary music charts across the country.

His success has not only grabbed the  attention of deejays and fans, but also of the press as he has received acclaim courtesy of Swagg Magazine, Ug Extra, Saturday Vision, Ug gospel life, The Beat on NTV, Hot Seat on Urban TV and more.

Most recently, Mycheal is nominated for the Hip Hop artiste of the year in the Viga Music Awards and has ignited stages at Pamoja Festival in Bujumbura Burundi, Project April in Lilongwe  Malawi, Jeans and T shirts in Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Hindurwa in Kigali Rwanda and has shared stage with  all Uganda’s top musicians during the prestigious Kampala City Festivals since 2013. Now he is ready to take his career to the next level as a new addition to the music generals on the African continent. 

As evidence his brand has more to offer than just music, Mycheal solidified his place as an actor  for TV and Film in Uganda and founded Wuluguma Arts Foundation, a youth centre for creativity, arts education and talent development serving gifted young people with disadvantaged backgrounds.

Mycheal’s upcoming debut album, “UNMASK” offers a proper introduction to his singular sound, merging Afro rap energy and hip hop flavour.
