Segmento (Ssekamate Jordan) is a Ugandan gospel musician and vocal leader of Anointed Worship Team, St. Luke church Seeta, Uganda. He is a song writer of the Team, a rapper by passion and a worshipper by calling. He is a Bible teacher and preacher of the Gospel of Christ and an interpreter in church
Early life and education
Segmento was born in 1993 in Busabaga, Lugazi being first born of 10 to Mr Joshua Talemwa and Mrs Catherine Talemwa, peasants who pastor a church in Busabaga, True Light Pentecostal Church. Raised in a financially struggling family, Jordan had his first education in Nansenya primary school but his outstanding performance both academically and musically in the school chior at his tender age won him a place in a town school. He joined Lugazi community school and completed his primary seven. In 2006, Jordan wrote is first song "Buli kiramu kivuname". He joined Namilyango College in 2008 for O' and A' level where he was the choir master of the school Choir, The Seraphs, a students’ vice president and president of a self founded club Namilyango performing arts (NAPA). In 2014, Segmento joined Makerere University for a BSc. Human Nutrition.
He is focusing on finalizing with his degree to start pursuing his music career. He has written a couple of albums that he anticipates to release soon. Some of the songs on his first album "Njakuyimuka" include New page, motherland, Njakuyimuka, tulina esuubi, strange to say, remember, yield and yamanyi and others.
