Vancy Tomson Biography.

Vancy Tomson  AKA God's Lyre  is a gospel musician born in a family of four children on the 6th of April 2001.Born and raised in kakira Jinja,he started his journey of music from way back branding himself as a doer of Soul Touch Music  in church which served as an important  stepping stone in the discovery of his calling .As early as primary three ,Vancy was singing in the youth church choir at St Stephens church kakira .He left Sunday school much more earlier than his friends because he found it easy to relate with bigger people.After leaving Madhvani Primary School,he joined Kiira College Butiki for his O'level where his talent of music was natured .However ,despite his outstanding talent of singing,it was very hard for him to out shine the bigger cecullar boys and so his candel Was always kept under the bed till he joined Form 5 in the same school.Vancy's determination had grown to levels he would never comprehend .During that year in 2018,Vancy was voted Mr Butiki after a stiff competition with cecullar rappers and crooners.This is when he discovered the power behind gospel music .Vancy always had a challenge of school fees due to his humble back ground but he never gave up on his goal and he kept on fighting for the best future he could make  .He had been writing his music from form 2 and he felt he was tired of writing without producing .After being sent home for school fees that second term of his form 5 ,Vancy decided to go to studio and try out his gift .  He had been connected by a friend of his called Edrine who was a friend to Timo Rayz of Rayz Avenue Studios in Njeru .After doing his first song entitled No More which was so emotional because he it tells a story of hope out of his pains and struggles .God made this hip hop piece a propeller of his musical journey .Vancy found his school so dear to him that he decided to keep it close because God had made it a tool of his ministry .He did his second song called Six 19 Kimposh for his mates . It was a ceremonial song for the form 6 leavers of 2019 which he launched at their Prom party at Silver Springs Hotel Bugolobi and it proved to be an irresistibel vibe.Vancy in the 6th edition of Rising Star talent competitions 2019 represented his school in the category of original composition and singing in which he proved to be exceptional.His song No More was awarded the best original composition and he was awarded a medal for being the most talented musician .On the 8th of may 2019,he released another song called No Weapon  together with rapper Duka Shadrat which derived from a revelation in Isaiah 54:17.Still due to the love he had for his school ,He did a song for Kiira College Butiki's Diamond jubilee celebrations of 2019 and the lord kept shining his light upon him.Vancy is inspired by Zabuli music and Levixone as the biggest ambassadors of gospel music he has ever known .He is equally determined to sky the heights and lift gospel music to the rest of the world for the glory of the most high God with his favrite styles being Hip Hop and Modern dance hall though he is versatile
