Brian Wade is a Christian rapper from Uganda, East Africa. Founder of Great Music Group, born 1st January 1992 in Kampala city, and lives in Kampala city/Nateete
His real name is Segujja Brian, his Father is Mr. Kakembo Paddy and his mother is Mrs. Nagawa Juliet he has two siblings, a brother and a sister. However, he spent most of his child hood from a year 2005 in foster homes, after his father abandoned their family and mother didn’t have money to take care of the family. He was taken up by a foster home (Docus children’s Home which used to be in Nansana at a place known as Ganda in wakiso district) where he got shelter and Education. Later on he was taken up by another foster home in 2007 (Biojemms Children’s home, which is based in Rukungiri western Uganda) which helped him to finish his ordinary and advanced school levels in 2011
Brian wade became a Christian after joining Biojemmss children home in 2007, a Christian based children’s home which looks after kids from the streets, orphans, as well as those with no family support. He became a born again Christian after confessing Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a church known as Rukungiri Community church (Western Uganda) in 2007.His relationship with Jesus Christ has taught him how to be patient, how to love, how to get through trials and tribulations, how to pray and how to be a better man
He fall in love with hip hop / rap music at the age of 14 when a friend introduced him to the music from artists, like Rakim, Jarule, 50 Cent, common, Nas, Jay Z, T.I, Ludacris, Buster rhymes, Eminem, lil Wayne among others. who inspired him to pick a pen and a paper to start writing rhymes. And between the age of 14 and 15 he recorded a couple of secular songs. At the age of 16 he got a Cd from a friend who lived in the UK which had a collection of Christian Rap music from KJ52, verbs and many others, he was amazed to hear that Christian Rap existed, so he did more research about Christian rap music. After a while, he bumped into music by Lecrae, Trip Lee, Da Truth, Tedashi, Flame and many others who inspired him to get Serious with Christian rap music according to the way they expressed their passion for Jesus Christ in rap music. He looks up to people like Lecrae, Alex Faith, Da Truth, Trip Lee, Flame, propaganda and Serge.

Regardless of doing gospel music, when he is in Kampala City he goes to Redemption City Church, Jinja Road, opposite KCB Bank and from his village he goes to Divine Restoration Church Nateete for prayers. He is a member of both churches but serves no roles in both churches. So when he is not doing music, he is reading books, listening to music ,editing most of his musical work and art work, visiting friends ,fellowshipping with friends , beat making, blogging ,tweeting .he uses music to find peace ,joy ,give hope to the nations, express his pain, empower they young people and lastly to spread the word of Jesus Christ, and he says he will never stop pursuing music because it’s one thing he is confident with and believes God is going to bless him through music and its subordinates .
